Materials Planning Module
Material Planning helps manage inventory levels based on current and planned production runs, forecast models, sales movement, and purchase movement. Material Planning works with similar information to the supply analysis functionality but displays the product information using a planning grid, right mouse menus and flexible on screen filtering.
After entering a few simple parameters, the module completes a powerful and comprehensive analysis process, giving users information relating to:
- Material shortages by date range and what production work the shortages will impact on
- Quantities required for production runs
- All components for a particular stage
- Quantities required and produced for forecasted productions
- Quantities required and produced for production runs
- Sales and purchase movements
This information is able to be displayed by date brackets allowing users to plan and understand material requirements over time.
